Ok, I would be totally lying if I said I don't absolutely LOVE the holiday season. I may nod in agreement when people complain that retailers start displaying Christmas decor before we've even gotten through Halloween, but if I'm honest, I'm actually really excited.
I love picking out the tree with my two step kiddos, turning on the Christmas music and sipping hot chocolate or Nutella milkshakes with candy canes. (Hey, this is Australia and it's hot here!) Then once it's dark, lighting up the tree and watching a Christmas movie, preferably Elf or Home Alone 2. That's why when I discovered this Holiday Home Tour by The Everygirl co-founder Alaina Kaczmarski, I was instantly head over heels.
I love that Alaina says that no surface is off limits when it comes to decorating with fresh garland and you should always hang stockings, even if you don't have a fireplace. That's the spirit and I completely agree.
